About the Role

The Governors are seeking to appoint a dynamic and inspirational leader, who will motivate and encourage our students to realise their full potential.    We seek someone with specialist knowledge and a passion for Maths who can develop our curriculum and who will promote classroom practice to enable all our students to make exceptional progress. The successful candidate will be passionate about academic excellence, collaboration and delivering high quality teaching for every student and will

  • Enhance learning and teaching within Maths.
  • Lead and inspire a love of learning in Maths.
  • Lead the planning and development of the Maths curriculum.
  • Maximise progress and achievement through rigorous monitoring, intervention and review.
  • Develop the potential of our students and our staff.
  • Be able to teach Maths at GCSE, A level and, ideally, Further Maths at A level.
  • Have energy, resilience, optimism, a sense of humour and the determination to see things through.
