Community Pages
On these pages you will find out more about how Holly Lodge works with and contributes to the wider community and ways in which you can get involved in school life. We have an active parent and teacher group Friends of Holly Lodge who meet regularly and put on a range of annual events.
At Holly Lodge pupils have many opportunities to participate in events and activities outside the school gates. Popular activities are:
Duke of Edinburgh Award at Bronze, Silver and Gold. Holly Lodge has the largest group of students going through to Gold in the city and in January 2013 we had the great privilege of seeing 9 of our girls receive their Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award at St James’ Palace London.

Spinning a Yarn
In partnership with the Bluecoat Display Centre Holly Lodge students are working with a renowned textiles artist, Helen Chatterton. The project involves students learning how to knit. Together with parents, teachers and other members of the community we are creating a huge knitted 3D sculpture. to be exhibited in our annual Palm House exhibition at Sefton Park Palm House.
If you are a keen knitter and would like to contribute to this project please contact R.Powell on 0151 2283772 or email her at r.powell@hollylodge.liverpool.sch.uk
